Workplace safety: the new provisions introduced by Decree Law 159/2025 – Andrea Puccio interviewed by Adnkronos

Decree Law 159/2025 introduces a significant redefinition of the regulatory framework on workplace safety, strengthening accident prevention measures and requiring companies to implement a structural review of their safety measures.

In an interview with Adnkronos, our founding partner Andrea Puccio analysed organisational impacts and implications for businesses resulting from the new legislation.

As highlighted during the interview, “the strengthening of inspections, particularly for those operating under subcontracting arrangements, will certainly require companies to pay greater attention to safety organisation and the traceability of liabilities along the supply chain”.

An obligation that could become a real opportunity: compliance becomes an integrated part of business management, partly thanks to the economic incentive mechanisms introduced by the decree, which link companies' safety performance to the social security costs.
