Who protects us from online fraud? - Andrea Puccio interviewed by Rai News 24
In the latest episode of Spotlight, the insight program by Rai News 24 aired on November 4, the focus was on online fraud, an increasing phenomenon that affects both individuals and businesses and which, now more than ever, requires awareness, prevention and digital literacy.
The report, entitled “Who protects us from online fraud?”, examined how digital scams have evolved over the years: increasingly sophisticated schemes that exploit both technological and psychological flaws, managing to deceive even the most experienced users. Today, it is not only ordinary people who are targeted, but also executives and financial managers of large companies find themselves victims to complex scams such as ‘man-in-the-middle’ attacks, a strategy used by criminals to intercept and redirect legitimate payments between real parties to fake accounts.
But what happens to companies when they are hit by such attacks? How do fraudsters manage to infiltrate systems and deceive even the most structured organizations?
These questions were addressed by our Founding Partner, Andrea Puccio, in an interview with Rai News 24 as part of the report.
