Investigation into Milan urban planning: Puccio assists Lepontina
Puccio Penalisti Associati, with a team composed of Founding Partner Andrea Puccio, Partner Giulia Cagnazzo and Associate Giulia Bellini, has recently taken on the defence of Lepontina 7-9 S.r.l.’s legal representative, one of the leading companies involved in the investigation into alleged urban planning violations started by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office.
The criminal proceedings stem from a differing interpretation between the Municipality of Milan and the Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the building regulations to be applied, which is now paralysing numerous construction projects in Milan, causing significant damage to both industry operators and investors.
The legal representative of Lepontina 7-9 S.r.l. is under investigation for the alleged crimes of building abuse and illegal land subdivision, together with the professionals and public bodies involved in the administrative procedure for the issuance of the SCIA pursuant to Article 23 of Presidential Decree no. 380/2001.
In May 2024, as part of the proceedings, the Company was also subject to a preventive seizure order, which affected the construction site area, halting the implementation of the previously approved real estate development project.
