Fighting Illegal Gangmastering requires a united front – Andrea Puccio interviewed by Avvenire

The phenomenon of gangmastering continues to be widespread in Italy, affecting various sectors such as construction, services and fashion. Investigations conducted by public prosecutors have revealed very high rates of irregularities and exploitation, calling for serious reconsideration of how production chains are managed.

In an interview with Avvenire, our Founding Partner Andrea Puccio explained: “The key to protecting workers and preventing exploitation lies in a structured risk management system implemented by companies. It is essential to define codes of conduct for suppliers and subcontractors, establishing objective and predetermined criteria for the assignment of tasks.
