Criminal liability in managing corporate crisis – Giulia Raona and Alessandro Ruffini, lecturers in the Master’s program “Corporate Crisis and Business Restructuring”

On April 23rd, our Associates Giulia Raona and Alessandro Ruffini took part as lecturers in a session of the Master’s program “Corporate Crisis and Business Restructuring” at SdM – Scuola di Alta Formazione dell’Università degli Studi di Bergamo (School of Advanced Studies of the University of Bergamo).

During the session, they explored the topic of criminal liability of directors, statutory auditors, and professionals in the management of corporate crisis.

The lecture provided a highly engaging opportunity for discussion, focusing on the main profiles of criminal liability, with particular attention to risk prevention tools and the importance of a proactive approach by organizations, in light of an evolving regulatory framework concerning adequate organizational structures and compliance safeguards.
