Labour exploitation is currently at the core of public debate in our country. Recent investigations by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office have shed light on a phenomenon that cannot be addressed solely through the enforcement of criminal law.
In an interview published by Il Sole 24 Ore, our Founding Partner Andrea Puccio emphasized: “Labour exploitation is a central issue in our country, but it should not be dealt with only by the Public Prosecutor’s Office: first and foremost, there is a regulatory issue that needs to be addressed.”
Alongside the action of the Judicial Authority, a clearer regulatory framework is required on the classification of relationships in new forms of digital work, as “companies also need clear guidelines to ensure compliance.”
