On the November and December issue of Capital, there is an interesting article by Andrea Puccio on Artificial Intelligence and the need to effectively regulate this phenomenon, respecting the potential of new technologies, but minimising the risks associated with their use and the liability profiles that could result from them.
The issue is very topical: at the European level, an agreement was recently reached between the Commission, the Council and the European Parliament on the AI Act, a regulation designed to introduce harmonised rules on Artificial Intelligence and which aims to be the first comprehensive legislation on the subject in the international legal landscape.
The first steps towards a standardisation of AI are also beginning to be recorded in other legal systems. This is certainly a complex task, which will present us with interesting challenges in the near future.
